Kenya Wildlife Photo Safari July - October 2017 Wildebeest Migration
Kenya is probably the best African country for affordable game viewing and wildlife photography. It is a safe country, where the wildlife is accustomed to people and to a close approach by vehicles. Wildebeest Migration safari, is now officially known throughout the world as, "The seventh greatest wonder in the world". Many have come back time and again. They have witnessed this mass movement of wild animals roaming free through unspoiled and savage wilderness. The air fills with the click- click of the cameras tirelessly. You have not seen something like this before!!!

On arrival at the airstrip you are met by your host and transfer to Ashnil Mara Tented Camp. You’re now in Maasai country, where sedentary crop farming gives way to nomadic cattle herding. Red clad, spear-wielding Maasai warriors tend their multi-colored herds among the wild animal of the Loita Plains, admirably unimpressed by the presence of large predators.

Besides, this will be the peak of the annual wildebeest migration hence the park will be teaming with the migratory animals plus the predators. Indeed you have a good chance of seeing a river crossing, and can choose to spend at least one full day out in the park with picnic lunch boxes.
Meal Plan: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 3: July -October 2017: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
We continue to explore this miraculous area on our morning and afternoon game drives. At the northern extremity of the unique Serengeti Ecosystem, blessed with a permanent water supply, the Maasai Mara has a thriving, permanent population of plains game, augmented in the dry season by the migration of more than 3 million gnus and zebras from the vast, parched Serengeti plains. Of the hunter’s “Big Five” Elephants, Buffalos, Lions, and Leopards are quite common, while even the much rarer rhino might come out of the thicket for you. Hyenas are plentiful and the cheetahs, 60-miles-per-hour daytime hunters are often seen. This is one of the most Spectaculars sights in the world. At sunset we will visit a section of the Mara River where we hope to see many hippos.
Meal Plan: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 4: July -October 2017: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Game viewing/Photography: Sunrise and sundown are the greatest moments for game viewing in these mystic plains, a time where the soft red hues of the sun will give you an added natural richness to your photographs with the clarity of the actual African Savannah. The vast, open grasslands of the Serengeti-Mara are home to over 3 million large mammals. These include over 1.4 million wildebeest, which migrate in an enormous, straggling herd each year between the southern parts of the Serengeti to the northern part and back again. With them move other herbivores such as gazelles and zebras, also looking for the best grass. Along the way they provide food for big predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs. Here we learn about and see firsthand the intricate web of dependency that binds the different species together. Each animal has adapted to its own niche and to the other animals that surrounds it. Here we see nature at its most subtle and, sometimes, most cruel as each animal struggles to survive and reproduce.
